Sarah Burnham is the current Vice President of the BC Borstal Board of Directors. Sarah is part of the Vancouver Police Department’s Senior Leadership Team and has over 24 years of experience in the Criminal Justice Industry. Various positions within the Vancouver Police Department have provided a wide variety of experience regarding human resources, strategic planning, private and public consultation, corrective discipline and identifying diverse community needs. Sarah also owned her own consulting business and understands proper business management. Sarah’s strong communication skills allow her to work collaboratively with others in order to promote strength in one's mental wellbeing. Sarah believes in building resiliency and providing opportunities for those in need so that they may become productive and meaningful members of their community
