On March 25, 2024, the BC Borstal Association will launch the Hope After Trauma Academy.
BCBA offers a number of workshops to help broaden knowledge and understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals, community and society as a whole. Our workshops can be combined to create full day training sessions as well.

The BC Borstal Association annually recognizes our supporters, leaders, and the accomplishments of officers and in the field.
On March 31, 2023, the Dick Bell-Irving Community Residential Facility (more commonly known as a halfway house) closed its doors.
Our mission is to improve personal and community wellness by providing treatment, support and education to British Columbians impacted by trauma.
BCBA acknowledges that the land on which we provide our services is the ancestral unceeded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Under the umbrella of the Province of British Columbia, the Civil Forfeiture Program provides grant funding to us so that we can provide training, education and support.
