The content of BC Borstal's Sexual Assault Recovery Group draws from the book 8 Safe Keys to Trauma Recovery, by Babette Rothschild. This group is recovery-focused, and will provide tools to help you cope with triggers, flashbacks, shame, guilt and the many other symptoms of sexual assault trauma. It is educational in the sense that it teaches about how trauma can affect us, including how it impacts our personal window of tolerance.

A group setting allows us to connect with others who have been through a similar experience, and can help you realize that you are not alone in your suffering. Together we are stronger, and we can support each other in our individual healing journeys.

If you are interested in joining this group, we would love to hear from you! Please email: camilla@bcborstal.ca to register. Space is filling up quickly!
